Service Description
The New Parent Intensive – 7 Day Live-In Crash Course Bringing your new baby home is exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming. This package is designed for parents in the UK to give you round-the-clock support in those first precious days, while also equipping you with the knowledge and confidence you’ll carry forward. Over the course of 7 days and nights for 20 hrs per day, I will live in with your family, gently guiding you through every aspect of newborn care: • Feeding support (breast or bottle) • Safe sleep and settling techniques • Gentle age appropriate routines and understanding your baby’s cues • Bathing, winding, swaddling, and daily care • Parental rest strategies and recovery tips • Ongoing reassurance and confidence building At the end of the week, you’ll receive a personalised newborn care guide, The NNEB Bible and routine plan, tailored to your baby and family.


Cancellation Policy
Booking & Cancellation Policy This policy applies to all services provided by Karen Carter NNEB T/A The Maternity Nurse including remote consultations and in-person maternity nursing services. By making a booking and/or payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms below. 1. Cooling-Off Period (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013) • If you book a service online, by email, or over the phone, you have the right to cancel your booking within 14 days of confirmation and receive a full refund, provided the service has not already been delivered in part or in full. • If you request that services begin within this 14-day period, you acknowledge that you may lose your right to a full refund for services already provided. 2. Cancellation by the Client • Remote Services (Consultations, Calls, Sleep Support, etc.): o Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled session: full refund. o Cancellations made within 48 hours: 50% refund. o Cancellations made less than 24 hours before, or failure to attend (no-show): no refund. • In-Person Services (Day/Night Bookings, Live-In Support up to 4 weeks): o Cancellations made more than 14 days before the start date: full refund of any deposit or fees paid. o Cancellations made 7–14 days before: 50% refund of fees paid (deposit is non-refundable). o Cancellations made less than 7 days before, or failure to attend (no-show): no refund. • Long-Term Bookings (1 month or longer, including block bookings or contracts booked several months in advance): o Clients have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of booking to cancel and receive a full refund (see Section 1). o After this 14-day period, all fees and deposits are strictly non-refundable. o This is because long-term bookings reserve my professional availability exclusively for your family and prevent me from accepting other work during that time. 3. Deposits • A non-refundable deposit of 40% is required to secure in-person and long-term bookings more than 8 full weeks. • This deposit will be deducted from the final balance. • If the client cancels, the deposit will not be returned except where legally required under the 14-day cooling-off period (see Section 1). 4. Cancellation by Karen Carter NNEB T/A The Maternity Nurse • In the rare event that I need to cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, emergency), I will: o Offer an alternative date or practitioner (where possible); or o Provide a full ref
