2. What qualifications and experience do you have?
I’m Karen Carter NNEB NCT, holding the Gold Standard NNEB Childcare & Education Diploma, with over 30 years’ experience supporting families in maternity wards, private homes, and internationally.
I’m also trained in paediatric first aid, feeding support, re-lactation, and baby development. I have extensive experience with multiples, premature babies, adoption and surrogacy.

4. Where do you cover?
I’m available in Bath, London, the South West, and across the UK, as well as Europe, Australia (visa-free) and internationally.

5. How long can I book a maternity nurse for?
I offer bookings from 8 weeks or long-term sole charge maternity bookings up to 12 months.
Live-in roles include a minimum 4-hour daily rest period and can be followed by two weeks of remote support to help with the transition once I leave.

6. What is included in the live-in maternity nurse service?
My live-in service provides 24-hour care for your newborn sole charge or guidance for hands on parents, including feeding, sleep, and recovery support.
I’ll stay with you to ensure consistent care and a smooth postpartum experience. After bookings of four weeks or longer, I offer two weeks of complimentary online support.

7. Do you offer overnight help (night nanny service)?
Yes — my night nanny maternity nurse service provides 8–12 hours of overnight care so you can rest. I tend to your baby’s needs through the night, manage feeds, and encourage healthy sleep habits.

8. Can I book you for daytime help only?
Absolutely depending on location. My daytime maternity nurse service runs for 8–12 hours and is perfect if you prefer to manage nights yourself but need expert support during the day.
I can assist with baby feeding, establishing routines, and giving you time to rest or focus on other tasks.

Yes. I specialise in multiples, premature and low-birth-weight babies, and provide gentle, expert care for babies with reflux, tongue tie, or additional needs.

Yes, I offer a Travel Maternity Nurse, Sole Charge and Proxy Parent service for parents who travel for work, UHNW multiple home owners or holidays.
I can accompany you nationally or internationally and manage all aspects of baby care while you rest or work.
